DISCIPULA - Outdoor Media Action
ABBANDONATI ADESSO AD UN LIVELLO PIU' PROFONDO DI CONDIVISIONE_ Milan
“Outdoor Media Action” is a public intervention by Discipula taking place in Milan from the 27th of November to the 10th of December 2017 as part of our ongoing project “How Things Dream”.
Discipula is collaborating with the media agency M4 which provided 6 LED maxi screens located in 6 densely trafficked areas of the city: Via Farini, Teatro Piccolo, Cadorna Station, Teatro Nazionale, Viale Forlanini and Corso Buenos Aires.
The screens intermittently display Aura (the tech corporate at the centre of "How Things Dream") advertisements promoting the brand itself and Morpheus, a mysterious upcoming technology. By reflecting on the nature of the messages presented and the way they are conveyed, the project aims at highlighting notions of power, submission and self-awareness in the processes of mass communication within the current capitalist regime we live in.
