MLZ Art Dep is happy to announce his participation to Art Rotterdam 2026 with Anaïs Horn and Sergio Scabar.

Anaïs Horn’s body of work Talk to Me, 2024–2025 spans paintings, mixed-media works and objects.Engaging personal archives and an ongoing investigation into the spectral presence of objects and spaces, the works draw on research on the evil eye through amulets, jewelry and altered images, tracing a space between protection, memory and absence.
Anaïs Horn, born in Graz (AT), lives and works in Paris and Lunigiana (IT).
Her multidisciplinary practice explores states of liminality and the tension between presence and absence, tracing how memories and (her)stories echo through the spectral presence of objects and spaces.

Since the 1990s, Sergio Scabar (Gorizia, 1946-2019) has developed a research focused on objects and nature, culminating in the alchemical printing process initiated with II Teatro delle cose (1996). His works are now present in numerous public and private collections.
Through a rigorous and silent practice, his images investigate minimal objects and presences, transforming ordinary elements into suspended visions, where light, time, and matter condense into traces of memory.
